What better way to celebrate a Sense-Sational toddler’s first year of life than by having a Sense-Sational Celebration! Prior to starting the planning process for our toddler’s first birthday party, we agreed that we wanted to culminate her first year of life with an event the mirrored the last 365 days. An experience that our toddler could navigate as independently as possible using her 5 senses and we did just that.

The Sense Of Hearing

The Sense-Sational Party Guests were all able to be musicians!! There were different musical instruments to use to make beats or to play along with the live band. The live band played as the little ones and adults sang Kiddie-Karaoke! There were song books provided for each table just in case you forgot the words to songs like “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” or “The Wheels On The Bus”.
The Sense of Touch

Everyone as excited to make their very own slime and personalized slime container.
The Sense of Taste

Everyone was excited to decorate their very own cupcakes.
These little bakers were eager to taste their cupcakes too!
Each Sense-Sational party guest was able to decorate their very own cupcake and eat their yummy masterpiece. They also personalized their own apron to take home.
The Sense of Smell

This little one made her own sensory smell bottle with water beads and lavender oil.
There were all sorts of smells coming from the smelling stations. Before making their very own sense of smell bottles using water beads and essential oils, they were able to use their nose to guess different Sense. There was also an opportunity to win a price at the 5 Senses Game station.
The Sense of Sight
There were so many things to see at the party from the interactive centerpieces to the vibrant ball pits. There was also a station to create sensory bottles using magnetic objects. Each guest was given a magnetic wand to use with their sensory bottle. The personalized party bags were large enough to store of the Sense-sational creations.
